Finger Eleven Reivew
Mark of MarkandRachel had an idea that we (and his wife Rachel of MarkandRachel) attend the Finger Eleven show at Station 4 in St. Paul. I was game as I had never been to Station 4, and quickly made myself aware of the two songs that Finger Eleven are known for (paralyzer & One Thing) and are pretty good. The price was also right, $15 at the door, this also allowed us to avoid the oppressive Ticketmaster fees, which would have almost doubled the price. Pure evil.
A band called "Sick Puppies" opened, not bad, they have the backing of a major label and were decent. Then Finger Eleven came on, the lead singer had a good voice, odd manuerisms, reminded me of Aaron Lewis of Staind. Overall a good show, the venue was small, decent sound, had massive problems with support poles right in the middle, but overall a good place to see a show.
Again, this reminded me that we all need to get off our butts and see some live music, odd for me to hit a smaller club, but I need to do this more often. Mpls/St. Paul has a strong music scene, we should try and support it.
